Dr Ciaan Perera is a compassionate and caring general practice registrar. He finds deep satisfaction in guiding patients along their health journeys both acutely and in preventative care. He seeks to work alongside his patients to pursue healthy and happy lives.

Ciaan completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Sydney which was a bachelor of commerce (liberal studies) majoring in management, marketing and psychology. Studying psychology he learnt how important it was to him that his occupation match his caring nature. It was this idea that drove him to begin his lifelong study of medicine by completing his medical degree in 2020, again at the University of Sydney.

He then moved to the central coast for two years working across both Wyong and Gosford hospital before moving down to the nation’s capital to complete another year working in hospitals. He found all areas of medicine deeply fascinating but became frustrated with the lack of continuity of care being provided for his patients. This motivated him to move into general practice so he could focus on building lifelong caring patient-doctor relationships.

In his spare time Ciaan likes to go hiking, swimming and all things outdoors, though he also loves making and designing clothes, as well as catching up on his Netflix shows.

Dr Ciaan consults on Tuesday to Friday from 08:30 am – 5:30 pm and alternate Saturdays from 08:30 am – 12:30 pm, starting on 4th February 2025.

Visits with Dr Cian will be bulk-billed.
